Behind the camera
A love of pictures grew into a way to preserve the stories families share.
For as long as Megan can remember, she has been drawn to taking pictures. That desire eventually became a photography journey centered on the memories she values most: the people, personalities, and little details that make family life meaningful.
Her experience as a teacher and years spent working with children inform the calm, patient way she approaches sessions. That background makes it easier to meet little ones where they are, give families room to relax, and keep the experience personal.
Although Megan enjoys photographing many kinds of stories, she is especially drawn to newborns, milestones, and small-family sessions. Every session is another opportunity to learn, create, and preserve something a family can return to long after the moment has passed.
Outside photography, Megan describes herself as a wife, mother, teacher, friend, and memory-maker—usually happiest sharing life with the people she loves.
